Overtime Elite Program Continues Recruitment with Bryson Warren and Dom Barlow | NBA

Launched on the Atlanta side, the “Overtime Elite” program continues to attract young high school basketball players in search of preparation for their future professional career and compensation.

ESPN announces the arrival of a new prospect “five stars”, after Jalen Lewis, Amen Thompson, Ausar Thompson, Matt Bewley, Ryan Bewley and Jazian Gortman. This is Bryson Warren, a point guard / fullback who turns 17 in October. Courted by many universities (Arkansas, Tennessee, Kansas, Memphis, Oklahoma State, Missouri, Auburn…), he had received his first offer in NCAA when he was only 14 years old, a sign of his precocity…

A “light” scorer, he is compared to Darius Garland or CJ McCollum by ESPN, as he shot at 24.1 points, 3.7 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game with his high school in Little Rock Central, allowing him to become the first “Sophomore” (year 1) to be named best high school student in the state of Arkansas by coaches.

Bryson Warren won’t be able to run for the NBA Draft until 2024, or 2023 if he manages to finish high school early.

In addition, the “Overtime Elite” program has also recruited Dominick Barlow, an 80th ranked winger by ESPN in the 2022 season. Although he will automatically be eligible for the NBA Draft next year, and he will not be able to withdraw his name, the latter is expected to sign a two-year contract.

Led by Kevin Ollie, “Overtime Elite” has therefore recruited 21 young prospects, on its goal of 24 for its first season. In addition to the young Americans, the Dominican back Jean Montero, announced in the Top 20 of the next Draft, plus the internationals Izan Almansa (Spain), Alexandre Sarr (France), Nathan Missia-Dio (Belgium) and Tudor Somacescu (Romania) , are also part of the project set up by the organization.
