Puribec League: the Braves du Témiscouata will face Rivière-du-Loup in the final

After a very long series, where two games were postponed because of the weather conditions and especially after the incident of game # 5, while the Braves du Témiscouata won by forfeit following a protest against an ineligible pitcher from the Trois-Pistoles team.

The protest was finally upheld and the Braves were named the winners of Game 5. Trois-Pistoles forced the holding of an ultimate match after a brilliant victory in Cabano on Tuesday night.

Témiscouata was supported by a solid performance from ace pitcher Dany Paradis-Giroux in Game 7, with only one point allowed after 90 throws. His offense did more than enough in the batting circle with 11 runs scored.

The Braves will now face the Ciel Fm of Rivière-du-Loup in the Grand Final of the Puribec League.
