Pierre Quiroga won the second stage of the 52nd edition of the Solitaire du Figaro between Lorient and Fécamp (490 miles). At the helm of Skipper Macif 2019, the navigator crossed the finish line at 8h 43 minutes and 45 seconds precisely with a comfortable lead over his pursuers.

When he was declared the winner, Pierre Quiroga was more than four miles ahead of Tom Laperche (Bretagne – CMB Performance) and almost five over Achille Nebout (Primeo Energie – Amarris) on the provisional podium. Xavier Macaire, leader after the first stage, occupied the 16e place, more than 11 miles from the winner of the day. Its leadership in the general classification hangs by a thread.

Pierre Quiroga (28) is participating for the sixth time in the Solitaire du Figaro. This is his first victory in this event after having signed second place behind Macaire a few days ago in Lorient with 47 minutes behind Macaire.
