On Thursday afternoon in the town of Monteagudo, a strong hailstorm terrorized the residents. The huge balls of ice were the size of a golf ball, causing considerable damage to homes on impact.
Broken roofs, house windows and vehicle windshields were other considerable damage caused by the hailstorm, and the amount of damage caused by this natural phenomenon has not yet been quantified.
The villagers await help from the Monteagudo authorities.
