Four ultramarines have been selected for the world junior judo championships which began on Wednesday 6 (until 10 October) in Olbia, Italy.

Among the girls, they represent the Indian Ocean, the Mahoraise Kaila Issoufi, and the Réunionese Léa Fontaine, and the two boys are two Guadeloupeans Maxime Gobert, and Francis Damier.

The French team is counting on its European champions, Léa Fontaine, and Maxime Gobert, crowned just a week ago in Luxembourg. The France team also won the mixed team title.

And the least we can say is that Maxime Gobert did not disappoint. The Guadeloupe won the bronze medal at these world junior championships in the category of less than 66 kgs.
