Festime Sejdiu competed in the weight class up to 48 kilograms. In their first encounter, she met Mai Lan Nguyen from TSV Großhadern. When Nguyen took the lead with a shoulder throw, the Münchbergerin turned her opponent in the ground and took the victory with a grab handle. In the second fight Sejdiu Herter Carolina from the judo school Roman Baur faced. The Münchbergerin brought them into distress with several attempts to throw them, and Sejdiu was ultimately defeated by a high rating. Against Anastasia Böhm from TSV Altenfurt, she proved her skills and won through an arm lever. In the semifinals, Festime Sejdiu faced the later South German champion Vanessa Geretzki from TSV Großhadern, to whom she lost with a hip throw.
