This is what the Italian journalist Nicolo Schira said on Tuesday.

“The atomic ant” wore the uniform of the formation of the Queen City from 2015 to 2019. He totaled 68 goals and 52 assists in 114 games. In addition, the 34-year-old greatly contributed to the first MLS Cup in TFC history in 2017 and was selected as Major League Soccer MVP in 2015.

Giovinco left Toronto FC in 2019 to join Saudi Arabia-based Al-Hilal FC. Last August, this team chose to terminate the veteran’s agreement.

In 2021, the Toronto team is experiencing a season of misery. So far, she has maintained a 6-8-17 record, placing her 13th in the Eastern Conference standings.
