Still several teams interested in Deshaun Watson?

The deadline for transfers is November 2. By then, Deshaun Watson will be at the center of the rumors.

On Sunday, Ian Rapoport announced on NFL Network that the Dolphins will not be alone on the matter, and that the tendency is that a deal should be found by the time limit.

The Panthers, Eagles, Broncos have notably been cited in recent months for Watson. Rapoport uses these names, but without specifying whether they are still in the race. The Pro Football Talk site is more categorical. There would only be two teams in the race for Watson: Miami and the Panthers.

As a reminder, Watson has a no trade clause, which allows it to veto any exchange, and therefore to choose its destination. Apparently he doesn’t want to go to Philadelphia.

Other important information, Rapoport reports that Watson should be eligible to play if he is traded, and that he is still keeping fit to play.

Currently, the Texans have decided against playing Watson, but he is not officially suspended by the NFL. Sexual assault investigations continue, both civil and criminal, and he should not be legally questioned until the end of the season.
