Not to their advantage since the start of the regular season, the Lakers have been disappointing so far. To the point of dusting off very inglorious records… LeBron & co. have indeed beaten a mark of historic nullity of the franchise!
We cannot say that the start of the Lakers campaign went as planned. First, the Warriors proved too strong for Frank Vogel’s men, easily winning against them (121-114). Then, the revenge against the Suns after the elimination in the first round last year, ended in pudding with a new defeat (115-105). We expected much more from the 2020 champion …
Height of ridicule, LeBron James and his teammates lost each time at home, at Staples Center. Not really a way to thank their supporters who came to see them! On top of that, losing their first two home games is pretty exceptional for the Angelinos. In fact, as revealed ESPN, this is quite simply the first time that this has happened to them!

This is hardly reassuring for the Californian fanbase… However, it is not only the results that are a source of concern, there is also the state of mind of the players themselves. These seem to be on the skin, starting with LeBron who may have tried to injure a player against the Suns. And then, there was also the heated altercation between Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard…
Obviously, the mood is not at its best right now in the locker room. It must be said that more than ever the Crimson and Gold must manage a lot of pressure in 2021-22. While building a superteam, they stuck a target in the back at the same time. Suffice to say that the detractors of the team will have a blast in the event of failure, which would correspond to an absence of a title this year.
