The University of Guadalajara obtained the first place for the team of the National University Badminton Championship that takes place in the facilities of the University Sports Unit of the UASLP.

The “Leones Negros” beat the Eagles of the UASLP in the final, three games against one. The first point that the tapatíos took was in the mixed doubles, Sebastián Martínez and Romina Fregoso defeated Diego Morales and Carmina Hernández with partial 10/21, and 9/21.
Later in the women’s singles Andrea Borbolla fell to Yamile Barajas 7/21 and 16/21.

The only point for the Potosinos was achieved by Saúl Solís who beat Sebastián Martínez by a double 21/18.

The final point of the U of G was obtained by the doubles pair made up of Yamile Barajas and Romina Fregoso who defeated Esther Chávez and Carmina Hernández from Potos with partial 7/21 and 11/22. Given this, the men’s doubles game was no longer held.
Before, the UNAM had imposed on the UAEM three games against zero and took third place.

On the other hand, in the first men’s singles games, Jose Carlos Hernández of the UASLP beat Ricardo Orozco of the Universidad La Salle Cancún by a double 21/16.

In doubles Andrés Borbolla and Ana Pérez fell to the ITAM representatives, Diana Jiménez and Monserrat Olvera, 21/13 and 21/8.
