The Athenians of Manatí were dethroned from the Women’s National Superior Basketball (BSNF) when they fell on Monday night against the Carolina Giants in the semifinal series A.
The defending champions were unable to advance to their third consecutive final to defend the championship, but battled until the fourth game of the penultimate stage of the tournament.
