The calendar of the Italian Archery Federation has turned the page and now indoor competitions begin at a distance of 18 meters, and only those unfamiliar with our sport think it is easier given the relative proximity of the target. The Rieti archers of the ASD Arcieri di Valle Oracola, after specific training and competition simulations carried out on the shooting range, signed up for the competition that was held on 24 October in Avezzano (AQ) and here, surrounded by many archers belonging to various clubs in central Italy, they regained confidence with the targets placed at the classic 18 meters. So Tania Della Valle is came 4th in its category, while Claudio D’Annibale placed 5th in the Olympic arc.
Sunday November 7 the trip to that of Ascoli Piceno gave the “captain” D’Annibale the satisfaction of getting on the podium at second place in its category with 509 points. Of note in this competition is the debut, in the naked arch, of Giuseppe Varrone to whom the applause and encouragement of all the archers and all the fans who follow and support the ASD Arcieri di Valle Oracola go.
