The decision of judge Maha Kouzi and Manasfi of the Court of Crimes of Robbery and Extortion.

The elderly man was found dead inside his house in Ramal do Braz, in the Belo Jardim II district, in Rio Branco, after a team from the Military Police of Acre found his car abandoned during patrolling in the Santa Helena district, also in the Second District of capital.

For the acquittal, the magistrate considered that the evidence was not enough to convict the man. The decision was given after an investigation and judgment hearing that took place on October 25th.

“I understand that the evidence attached to the records is fragile to substantiate the condemnatory edict, and acquittal, due to insufficient evidence, is the measure that is imposed as it is more appropriate to the case. In view of the foregoing, I dismiss the request contained in the complaint and acquit Jamerson do Nascimento Paula, for the practice of the crime of robbery”, pointed out Maha in the decision.

Jamerson Paula was arrested in February this year by the Civil Police Captures Nucleus (Necapc) in compliance with a court order, after being denounced by the Public Ministry.
