Manchester United will lead Rangnik – Football until the end of the season

The 63-year-old Rangnik will then work as a consultant for another two years. Michael Kerik will lead the team during the work visa.

Rangnik previously worked for less than six months at Moscow’s Lokomotiv as sports director.

During his career, Rangnik led German teams such as Leipzig, Schalke 04 in Gelsenkirchen, Hoffenheim in 1899, Stuttgart and Hannover 96. Ten years ago, he took the Schalke 04 team to victory in the German Cup.

Last Sunday, Ūle Gunnars Sūlšers, who had worked at the helm of United for the last three seasons, was fired from the position of head coach. The two sides parted ways after a failed start to the season, with Manchester football finishing eighth in the Premier League after 13 games.
