Previously, Marc Marquez was also confirmed to be absent from the 2021 Valencia MotoGP. Even so, Repsol Honda decided not to replace him with Stefan Bradl, as happened at the Algarve MotoGP last year.

In the previous race, Bradl did enter to replace Marquez. This was done to help develop the Honda RC213V motorcycle, which is currently still lagging behind.

Even so, Honda did not send Bradl to race at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit. Instead, he will immediately get ready to go to the Jerez Circuit to undergo pre-season testing.

The official pre-season test will indeed be carried out at the Jerez Circuit on November 15 to 17, 2201. After that, he will continue testing at the same track on November 18 and 19.

Pol Espargaro

Of course it was quite surprising to see Repsol Honda not participate in the last race of the season. However, Honda is also certainly reluctant to take the risk to continue playing Pol Espargaro.
