The first award ceremony for the best basketball players in Benin was effective. The organizers of the Parakou Basketball Awards have taken up the challenge of organizing the city’s 1st edition of the Awards, Saturday, November 06, 2021 at the Guéma district in Parakou.
10 players of the basket ball of the city of Koubourou were rewarded at this evening. Aspal Bbc vice-champion of the Professional League won the most trophies. Their coach Jean M’po is crowned best coach of the season. The young prodigy Kora Salim is Mvp. His teammate Abdou Ibrahim Mubarak was crowned best defender of these Awards. The essential veteran Chabi Bouko Wahabou alias the Dounga is elected best scorer. Beninese international referee Emmanuel Kpawogbo received the trophy for best referee of the season. This 1st edition of Parakou Basketball Awards was attended by the 2nd vice-president of the Beninese basketball federation, Toungouh Zoulkifouli and the president of the Borgou basketball league, Amidou Baboni.
