Juan Cruz Real, new Junior coach

After analyzing several resumes, the rojiblanca board decided to hand over the reins of the team to Argentine coach Juan Cruz Real, who had been working as a commentator for Win Sports.

Cruz Real will come to replace the outgoing coach, Samarium Arturo Reyes, who managed Junior for much of the second half of the year, obtaining a place in the Copa Sudamericana 2022.

The Argentine was recently crowned Colombian soccer champion with América de Cali. In addition to directing the scarlet box, between 2020 and 2021, the counselor also had a stint at Alianza Petrolera (2017-2018) and Jaguares de Córdoba (2019-2020). Abroad he directed Belén de Costa Rica (2015) and Estudiantes de Mérida de Venezuela (2017).

Juan Cruz Real will be arriving in Barranquilla between Saturday and Sunday to sign the contract that will unite him to the rojiblanco team, with which he hopes to be the protagonist and fight for the title in the first half of 2022.
