This Thursday, through the program of the Junta de Andalucía Mentor 10, the Huelva badminton champion, Carolina Marin, has made a videoconference with the students of 1st year of high school of the school Sacred Heart High School, a center that the Andalusian Ministry has wanted to count on.
This program brings international elite athletes closer to young people, in order to learn about sports and human values, living within healthy habits.
The students of the center have been able to chat with the champion and through questions they have learned the reality of an athlete whose career is full of successes, as evidenced by her Olympic gold, her three world championships and her five European titles. But they have also known the negative part that exists in every athlete and that is reflected in injuries, whose desire to improve, perseverance and courage have contributed to overcoming the adversities that appear in the trajectory of every athlete.
It was a morning in which the students of the Lyceum have interacted with Carolina Marín, who has invited them to fight for everything they want in this world of sport, which is sometimes hard, but thanks to effort and sacrifice goals are achieved important and recognition. “A day that these young people will never forget, because they are not always so close to a world-class figure of our champion, Carolina Marín,” says the island center.
