In addition to the “Ippon of the year” and the male and female judoka of the year, other exciting awards are presented.

Anna-Maria Wagner is rightly nominated by the IJF as female “Judoka of the Year”. After two gold medals at Grand Slams, the first world championship title of a German judoka in 28 years and two bronze medals at the Olympic Games, she is currently number one in the world and can rightly be celebrated as the best judoka worldwide in the -78 kg weight class.
