On the 16th, Yongin Mayor Baek Gun-ki is discussing ways to vitalize sports for life with officials from four sports organizations.

[더뉴스코리아=김두용 기자] On the 16th, Yongin City held a meeting with officials from the four sports organizations of daily life, including tennis, badminton, gateball, and volleyball, to prepare a plan to revitalize daily life sports.

The meeting held at the city hall convention hall was held as part of the ‘communication meeting’ that the city has been promoting since January to communicate with citizens of various classes.

At this event, Yongin Mayor Baek Gun-ki and Yongin City Gateball Association President Nam Nam-hwa participated in the event, as well as the heads of each group, discussing ways to vitalize daily sports and discussing the difficulties of club members.

Yongin City Tennis Association President Choi Jae-joo, who attended the meeting, said, “Thank you for providing a forum for candid communication.

Mayor Baek Gun-ki said, “We will carefully consider the opinions expressed here today and come up with policies for the development of sports and the health of citizens. Please do your best,” he said.

Meanwhile, the city plans to hold meetings with various sports organizations sequentially as the spread of COVID-19 subsides.
