Cologne clearer Jorge Meré (24/contract until 2023) on the way to Mexico. Now everything should go very quickly with the winter move to top club CF America.
BILD had reported on the Spaniard’s change request: Meré no longer wants to stew on the bench as a reservist in Cologne and is looking for a new start in Mexico. A request for the central defender was already available at Geißbockheim last week.
The breakthrough in poker for the Blitz transfer followed on Friday. While Meré himself was still on the training ground with the Cologne pros and completed the final session before the Bayern game (0:4), the clubs reached an agreement among themselves.
