A total of 189 children who dedicate their short lives to sports are representing Itagüí in the now traditional Festival of Festivals, a tournament organized by the Los Paisitas Corporation to promote healthy competition for children.
The people of Itaguise will be participating in 13 of the 16 disciplines that are part of the festival; volleyball, basketball, soccer, indoor soccer, athletics, cycling, chess, cycling, judo, swimming, skating, field tennis and table tennis.
This event that takes place in some sports complexes in the city of Medellín, will end on January 22.
“It is very satisfying to see how the children of our city can compete again in this festival that is so important for the region. We are sure that they will stand out for their human qualities and fair play in all disciplines and where we will continue to demonstrate why we are a sports power in Antioquia ”, stated Hernán Darío Sánchez, manager of the Institute of Culture, Recreation and Sports.
