A complicated year for the Judo-club

The Judo-club of Chamouilley held its general assembly on Friday January 14, in the presence of Didier Limelette, deputy mayor, representing the municipality.

In his moral report, President Amaury Limelette reported an extremely difficult year 2021 in terms of membership.

Health restrictions having deprived judokas of tatami, or having authorized them to practice but with drastic rules, many have not returned. The volunteers nevertheless insisted on celebrating Christmas and shooting the Kings with the children.

Despite the help of sponsors, the financial report drawn up by the treasurer, Amandine Limelette, highlighted a drop in receipts since no event could be organized and the subsidies decreased. Expenses were contained, being limited to the purchase of mannequins to avoid close contact, but the club had to pay the 2020 and 2021 dues to the Judo League and the Departmental Committee.

In accordance with the statutes which recommend the renewal of the office at each Olympiad, were elected president: Amaury Limelette, treasurer: Amandine Limelette and secretary: Geoffrey Henry. The club will get closer to the judokas of the SLO of Bettancourt-la-Ferrée to study the possibility of training sometimes with them. He is going to organize a flea market in the grounds of the Château de Chamouilley on sunny days, the date not yet being fixed. A demonstration could also be considered as part of Pink October. If the Covid does not come once again to play spoilsport.
