A big surprise for the veterans of the judo club of Roquemaure, during their internship, eagerly awaited by the veterans, at the judo club of the town, for the resumption of lessons.
Laëtitia Meignan was the guest of honor for this occasion. A great champion serving everyone with a passion for judo to share with everyone, young and old. A remarkable record to name only her titles of 3rd at the world championships in 1991 and 3rd in those of 1986, a magnificent bronze medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics, champion of France in 1986, 1988, 1989, 1990 and 1991. A friendly and warm atmosphere where the young people of the club were also invited, but also the judokas of Gard and Vaucluse.
Mireille Savreux, teacher of the club, underlined, referring to the motto of Jigoro Kano, founder of judo, “mutual aid and mutual prosperity”.
