To make his journey smoother, Mario then went to the Vice President (Vice President) of the Republic of Indonesia (RI), Maruf Amin to simply say goodbye and ask for prayers. Meeting at the Vice President’s Palace, the 17-year-old racer asked for the blessing of the number two in Indonesia.
“Please pray for Mario Suryo Aji. This is originally from Magetan. The only one from Indonesia who will enter the Moto3 GP team. Insha Allah, he will leave for Spain tomorrow. The plan is to have 21 series in 16 countries. Series 3 in Mandalika in March,” said the Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa who accompanied Mario Suryo, Saturday (22/1/2022).

Before competing in the Moto3 international championship which will begin in March 2022, the SMA Negeri 1 Magetan student has prepared himself with his team by practicing regularly, one of which is by testing the race track at the Mandalika Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara.
Previously, for the last three years, Mario has accumulated experience by participating in the CEV Moto3 and Red Bull Rookies Cup.
Mario is also known for his work when competing in the Asia Talent Cup (ATC) and the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) under the Astra Honda Racing Team.
Besides the Governor of East Java, who accompanied Mario at this meeting, Director of Astra Honda Motor (AHM) Thomas Widjaya, Representative of the Indonesian Motor Association (IMI) Putu Putra Sadana, Head of East Java Dispora Pulung Chaustar, Head of East Java Communications and Information Technology Hudiyono, Karo Adpim of East Java M. Ali Kuncoro, Mario Surya Aji’s mother Risworini’s mother, Mario Surya Aji’s older brother Risto, and Mario Surya Aji’s Manager Kiagus Firdaus.
