Ajax and Juventus are approaching an agreement on the transfer of Mohamed Ihattaren to the Amsterdam club. That reports The Telegraph based on sources around the Italian club.
According to The Telegraph it is unclear whether it concerns a rental for six months or a season and a half or a definitive transfer. The player himself is waiting until the moment that he can be inspected at Ajax, according to the morning newspaper.
Ajax has been associated with Ihattaren since last Thursday. The attacking midfielder left PSV last summer, after he was no longer in the plans of trainer Roger Schmidt in Eindhoven. His new club Juventus leased Ihattaren to Sampdoria, but his adventure at that club ended in disappointment.
Ten Hag does not respond to rumors
Recently, Ihattaren seemed to be moving to FC Utrecht, but suddenly Ajax also got involved in the battle for the creative midfielder. Trainer Erik ten Hag did not want to comment on the messages about Ihattaren – as is always the case with possible transfers.
