Ajax talent Anass Salah-Eddine looks up to Marcelo and Johan Cruijff. The left back sees Marcelo as a personal example, while Cruijff is his all-time favorite Ajax player.
In conversation with the club channels of Ajax, Salah-Eddine is asked who the best left back ever is. “Marcelo”, replies the twenty-year-old left leg. “Actually Roberto Carlos, but he is before my time. So I have not seen him. So I say Marcelo, his playing is really beautiful: his technique and experience, I really enjoyed that. What did I learn from him? The freedom with which he played and also the moves he made, both offensively and defensively.”
Later Salah-Eddine tells who his all-time favorite Ajax player is. “I think Johan Cruijff”, the native of Amsterdam begins. “He has meant a lot, both at Ajax and around the world.”

Finally, Salah-Eddine speaks about the FIFA qualities in the selection of Ajax. It’s no secret that Kenneth Taylor performs best on the virtual fields and Salah-Eddine agrees. “Kenneth is the best, but how much time he puts in is not normal. I think he runs home every day after training,” the youth international jokes.
