AL Judo: Clara and Jean Diener-Charpentier, seed of champions in Saint-Brieuc – Saint-Brieuc

The tournaments follow one another for Clara and Jean Diener-Charpentier, and the sporting results on the tatami are still encouraging for the two judokas of AL Saint-Brieuc, accustomed to places of honor. After Ploërmel in November, Nantes in December, the harvest of medals intensifies in their category. Clara and Jean shoot in minims with a one-year gap, at the age of 13 and 12 and, respectively, at the weights of less than 44 kg and less than 38 kg. Their trainer Anne-Sophie Dartois is full of praise for her proteges: “These tournaments allow them to gain good experience. They should, given their potential, pass the cape of the department and the region without too much concern.

In Guerlédan on Saturday

With four to five training sessions per week, Clara and Jean put all the assets on their side. Saturday, they will compete in the Côtes-d’Armor championship, then should chain Brittany on February 27 in Concarneau. A single objective, France in March: “We are doing everything we can to ensure that our judokas progress collectively, and there, I must recognize that we are on the right track with this very receptive and competitive youth. Attendance pays, it also results from a very perceptible collective emulation at the dojo with a good group in full revival”.
