When will Anthony Davis return to the courts? A question that may find its answer at the start of the week, when the Lakers All Star interior will be reassessed by doctors, as LA club coach Frank Vogel told the media this Friday.
“AD” has been out since December 17 with a left knee ligament sprain. There was talk of an absence of at least four weeks initially. The former New Orleans player is averaging 23.3 points, 9.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists and two blocks per game this season. Seventh in the West standings, the Lakers have lost seven of their 12 games without Davis. They have a balance sheet (21 wins, 21 losses).
