While the first stage of the Indoor World Series is taking place this weekend in Nimes, The list of players called up in Italy for the next 2022 European Indoor Archery Championships was made official today, scheduled in Lasko from 15 to 19 February.
The goal of the tricolor expedition will be to repeat itself three years after thelast edition of Samsun 2019, in which the total loot was 6 overall medals with two golds (Massimiliano Mandia in the senior recurvo and Elisa Roner in the junior compound), three silvers and a bronze.
The great news is related to the return to the competition of the individual Olympic vice-champion Mauro Nespoli, which will support young compatriots Federico Musolesi and Alessandro Paoli in search of important results also in the team test.
In the female recurvo, the magical trio composed by Lucilla Boari (Olympic bronze in Tokyo 2021), Tatiana Andreoli (individual gold at the European Games 2019) e Vanessa Landi (reigning Italian outdoor champion), able to triumph at the 2017 Youth World Cup by defeating the Korean teachers in the quarterfinals.
