SURYAMALANG.COM, MALANG – The optimism of Arema FC management, which believes that its players who have been exposed to Covid-19 can already compete again in Week 21, which is proven.
Arema FC’s foreign players who previously missed the Week 20 matches have returned to undergo team training.
The presence of these Arema FC foreign players at least has become strong evidence that the Arema FC pillar players who have tested positive for Covid-19 are ready to be fielded again.
As previously reported, there were 5 Arema FC players who were tested positive for Covid-19 by the Governor of East Java.
Although it is not known exactly who the 5 players who were exposed to Covid-19 were, the foreign players and local players who were absent from the Week 20 match of Arema FC are suspected to be infected players.
When there was confirmation from the Governor of Bali, I Wayan Koster, that 5 Arema FC players were positive for Covid-19, the management of Arema FC expressed optimism that these players could compete again in Week 21.
Now that optimism is realized.
Foreign players, namely Carlos Fortes, Renshi Yamaguchi and Adilson Maringa, have been seen starting to train in Bali, along with Fabiano Beltrame, Sandi Sute, Ryan Kurnia, Diego Michiels and Ridwan Tawainella at the Karya Manunggal Field, Denpasar, Monday (24/1/2022) morning.
“Alhamdulillah, all the players who are symptomatic have shown improving health progress. Even they have been involved in team activities, namely training sessions, but we still give warnings to always maintain strict procedures,” said Arema FC media officer, Sudarmaji, Monday (24/1/ 2022).
As is known, Adilson Maringa, Sergio Silva and Fabiano Beltrame have ‘disappeared’ since the Match Week 19, on January 13, 2022.
