An eighth but not yet a quarter in play
If Asvel qualifies against Syktyvkar at the end of the round of 16, they will not yet qualify for the quarter-finals. Pierre Vincent’s players would then play in the “Round of 8“, an extra round to go from eight to four teams still in the running. These will then be joined by four teams donated from Euroleague for, this time, the “real” quarter-finals of the Eurocup.
