Axa XL expands North America team

The Axa XL is expanding its management team by three managers: Scott Young, Vice President and Senior Program Underwriter, Linda Mai, Senior Actuarial Analyst, und Michael Branson, Senior Actuarial Analyst, joined on January 1, 2022.

Young has more than 19 years of experience in commercial lines underwriting, program business development and risk management. His experience includes underwriting positions with two Managing General Underwriters – Bellingham Underwriters and Align General Insurance Agency. He holds a CPCU degree, a BA from Western Washington University, and an MBA from Western Governors University.

Mai brings over 15 years of actuarial experience to her new role on the AXA XL Program’s team. During her career she worked at AXA XL Re, Ariel Re and Ace Tempest Re. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto.

Branson is an associate with the Casualty Actuarial Society. His experience spanned six years at Liberty Mutual, where he supported Global Risk Solutions, Global Retail Markets and Capital Attribution. He is a graduate from Bentley University.
