After more than a year without welcoming any, Badminton Plérinais came up the nets this Sunday for a youth departmental tournament in fourteen tables. When a Morbihan town like Gourin chose to postpone the meeting, the Plérinais club took the option of adapting to the health context. “Faced with the ban on eating in the room, we divided the day in two: the cadets and the chicks in the morning, the youngest and the little ones in the afternoon”, reports Claire Burban, youth manager of the local club.
Four local finalists
He took it well, because the competition was able to attract 107 players from 19 clubs, with a clear presence of Trégor Badminton (fourteen players in the last four, for four titles). Of the 17 local licensees involved, four registered their names among the finalists: Thibaut Chauvin and Camille Legros (elite youngest), Naëlle Lenôtre (minimum hope) and Clara Dupuis (youngest hope).
Convenient
Next meetings: Catherine-Hamet tournament, February 20 (unclassified and promotion), and Océane tournament, from April 16 to 18.
