Badminton players Velo draw again

The Drop Shot“>Velo badminton players also closed the second game of this weekend with a draw.

After last night’s game against Drop Shot ended 4-4, it was 4-4 at DKC again this afternoon. Velo took office without fixed values Milou Lugters (ill) and Nick Fransman (obligations elsewhere).

Velo started the game well, winning both the men’s and women’s doubles. Ruben Kweekel also scored a point in the men’s ankle, after which Fredrika Lagerstedt fell in her women’s ankle. Nevertheless, halfway through there was a prospect of good results.

But just like the day before, the Wateringers only won one match in the second part: the mixed doubles against Jim Middelburg and Myke Halkema.

Despite the disappointing result, Velo continues to hold onto third place in the championship group. That entitles you to a place in the semi-finals for the national title. Next week, Velo will play at home against Duinwijck from Haarlem, one of the favorites.
