During the traditional winter event at the Top 10 Academy baseball stadium, both entities formalized the agreement that will provide prospects and their families with the education and financial advice necessary for them to manage in the most appropriate way the resources that will be received when receiving signing bonuses with major league teams.
Luis Evangelista “Mejía”, president of the Top 10 Academy, thanked Banreservas for the support they will be providing to the prospects, since one of the most requested needs is that the players and their families can correctly manage the bonuses they receive for the benefit of the sustainability of their families.
“Since we started in Top 10 Academy we thought that education would be the backbone that differentiates our prospects, forming stars on and off the field, today with this alliance we are reinforcing it”, explained Mejía, who added: “All our athletes are studying, following the educational curriculum of the Ministry of Education, and now thanks to Banreservas they will have this complementary education that will be of vital importance for their lives”.
