Fortitudo Baseball Bologna is pleased to announce that pitcher Matteo Bocchi will return to wear the UnipolSai uniform next season
After being one of the protagonists of the 2020 championship victory, the 1996-born pitcher returned to the USA, where he played with the Chicago Cubs franchise in Advanced Single A which in Double A. In 64.1 shots launched overall he closed with a record of 2 wins, 1 loss for an average of 4.34 points earned. In September he was also part of the Italian national team which finished third in the European Championship.
“I am happy to be back in a team capable of competing every year in Italy and in Europe. I followed the purchasing campaign and I am very happy with the new arrivals. I am sure they will help us enormously over the course of the season ”commented Bocchi.
