ANKARA (AA) – Galatasaray lost 71-62 away to France’s Basket Landes team in the 11th week postponement match of Basketball FIBA Women’s Europa League Group B.
The first quarter of the match, which was played at the Espace François Mitterrand Sports Hall, ended 14-14. Basket Landes, who was more effective offensively in the second quarter, closed the first half leading 38-29.
The home team, which controlled the game in the second half, won the match 71-62, in which they passed the third period with 52-40 superiority.
With this result, Galatasaray lost their 8th match in their 13th match, while Basket Landes won for the 5th time in their 12th match.
