In a catch-up game on the 18th matchday, the five-time German champions defeated French champions Villeurbanne 77:68 (45:29) and are in tenth place with a record of 10:11 wins, just behind Anadolu Efes Istanbul (10:10) in eighth place. The top eight teams qualify for the knockout stages after 34 matches.
