Six new members, including Junta Kosuda, a snowboarder who participated in the Tokyo Paralympics on land last year, have been appointed as the representatives of Japan for the Beijing Paralympics to be held in March.
On the 12th, the Japan Ski Association for the Disabled announced that a total of six people, including snowboarders and alpine skiers, who met the selection criteria for this season’s World Cup results, have been nominated as representatives of Japan for the Beijing Paralympics.
Of these, all snowboarders are in third place in this season’s World Cup.

Three new representatives have been appointed.
All three are the first representatives of the Winter Paralympics, but Kosuda participated in the Tokyo Paralympics for the first time on land last summer, and will participate in the Paralympics twice in half a year.
In the alpine skiing, the three people in the standing and skiing class were all nominated as representatives.

▽ Noriko Kamiyama has been appointed as the first representative at the age of 48.
There have already been 17 unofficial appointments for the Beijing Paralympic Japan national team, including Momoka Muraoka, who is aiming to win the gold medal for the second consecutive tournament, bringing the total to 23.
