Besiktas: Hannes Wolf is a candidate for coaching in Istanbul

A familiar face from the Bundesliga is in contact with Besiktas: Hannes Wolf is already negotiating with the Turkish club.
The Turkish top club Besiktas is looking for a new coach for ex-Bundesliga coach Hannes Wolf. According to information from GOAL and SPOX the Istanbulers are already in talks with the 40-year-old. However, he should not take up the coaching job in the Turkish metropolis until the new season, until then interim coach Önder Karaveli will be trusted.
Wolf, who coached Hamburger SV, VfB Stuttgart and Bayer Leverkusen, among others, has been in charge of the German U19 national team since last July.

Wolf is not the only German associated with Besiktas. According to Sport1 former Schalke coach Jens Keller is also a candidate for the reigning champions of the Süper Lig.
After a disappointing season, Besiktas only parted ways with Sergen Yalcin in December. The club is currently in sixth place in the Süper-Lig table – not enough for the claims of the defending champion.
