These were produced for the fourth time by the Atex company, and biathlon hopes highly praise their design and functionality. “As a whole, my overalls seem very nice,” said Markéta Davidová.
Czech biathletes will enter their races at the Beijing Olympics on February 5. They should also bring them lucky brand new overalls, which were made especially for the Chinese sports holiday.
For the fourth time in a row, the Czech company Atex took care of their production. “Unlike the World Cup collection, the design is generally clean and decent, but there are playful details such as minimalist biathlon targets, cross-country trails or flags. and the right calf is a stylized Czech flag. From the long phrase Czech Republic, CZE is highlighted in color for easier identification. “ described the design by the co-owner of the company Oldřich Sova on the website biatlon.cz.
Each jumpsuit was created in the Czech Republic from flexible materials Espan, Roubaix and Dryclim, which were used on various parts of clothing. For greater comfort, the overalls are equipped with anti-slip grips on the elbows and torso. The seams of the cut are anatomically shaped and fourteen people have always worked on each piece.
Markéta Davidová and Michal Krčmář were the first to try out the new overalls in Anterselva, Italy. And they both praised them. “I like the Olympic jumpsuit. I appreciate that it is white. Together with Atex, we just fine-tuned the hats and headbands. As a whole, I find the jumpsuit very nice.” said David.
Krčmář, who is nicknamed “Bimbo” in the team, also joined. “We already saw sketches in Hochfilzen. I personally liked it there, we only had a little remarks. Now that I’ve seen her live, it’s just confirmed. I really like the Olympic jumpsuit. I think it combines modern design with light but the healthy retro that I like, “ he admitted.
As the sports director Ondřej Rybář said, the overalls are beautiful. Now all that remains is for the Czechs to have nice results.
