Big trade for John Wall before the deadline? The last elements!

Still in the closet in Houston, John Wall remains one of the profiles to watch on the sidelines of the trade deadline. Linked to several beautiful franchises in rumors, the star leader of the Rockets has been the subject of a big update as the fateful date approaches!

His track record should allow him to polarize attention as a potential starter. Unfortunately for him, his recent liabilities in the infirmary, and especially his fabulous salary prevent him from doing so. This is the situation in which John Wall finds himself a few days before the trade deadline. Dismissed from the Rockets’ long-term project, the star leader is waiting to know if he will end the season there despite everything.

If the table in which he appears in Houston seems very dark, hope remains for the former Wizard. Indeed, several beautiful franchises would look into his file for a few days, and would show themselves ready to relaunch it. A scenario that should obviously please the leader, he who only asks to play a significant role in a team aiming for the title!

Departure strongly compromised for John Wall?

About ten days before the trade deadline, it is therefore difficult to see clearly in the J-Wall file. Fans of the Rockets and the other franchises concerned are obviously waiting for news, which Marc Stein has just brought in his latest paper. And according to the famous insider, a transfer of the five-time All-Star remains very unlikely for the moment!

The LA Clippers and Miami Heat are among teams interested in Wall becoming a free agent, but Wall and the Rockets have admitted talks of a buyout at this stage remain unrealistic given the enormous value of Wall’s contract. He receives 44.3 million dollars this season, and has a player option for next year up to 47.4 million.

If he earns a good living thanks to his juicy contract, Wall finds himself deprived of playing time, and unable to bounce back because of him. A scenario of the most uncomfortable for him, who should therefore have to wait until next summer to hope to leave H-Town. In the meantime, he makes sure in any case to keep himself in shape, in private training sessions in Miami where he still shows off all his qualities!

Attached to his XXL salary, John Wall would therefore be ready to stay on the sidelines in Houston, rather than join a top-team in the coming days. A questionable choice, but that he seems to fully assume!
