BVB: Erling Haaland: Attack on BVB bosses! Now Watzke reacts – Bundesliga

The explosive statements by BVB goal machine Erling Haaland (21) and the consequences…

After the 5-1 gala against Freiburg with a Haaland brace, the striker went on the offensive and attacked those responsible for BVB. Haaland on Norwegian TV on “Viaplay”: “In the past six months I’ve decided not to say anything – out of respect for Dortmund. But now the club has started to push me to make a decision. They’re putting me under pressure.”

BVB boss Hans-Joachim Watzke (62) reacted immediately to the explosive statements. Watzke in the “WAZ”: “We don’t put Erling under pressure at all. There are currently no talks or appointments, so I can’t understand it.”

As a club, you cannot wait until May: “That will make sense to him. As a professional, he has to understand that at some point you will talk about the future.”

Watzke also publicly shows understanding for his striker. “He’s a spontaneous person, a young lad. He’s allowed to do that,” he told Ruhr Nachrichten.

Haaland (78 goals in 77 BVB games) has a contract until 2022 and can actually choose which top club he will be chasing goals for in the future. His message to those responsible for BVB: “You want an answer. So I have to make a decision soon.”

Haaland poker is entering its decisive phase.
