Caussade. Basketball: encouraging defeats

This basketball weekend was disrupted by the health crisis. Indeed, teams 2 and 3 of the U11, teams 2 of the U13 and U15 women and the U18 women of Caussade / Montpezat did not play following cases of Covid-19 detected in the opposing teams.

Despite a good reaction in the second period, the young U13s will not be able to reverse the situation and will have to bow with the score of 30 to 46. Team 1 of the U13 men managed to compete with their opponent of the day, Élan Aveyron Basket in Rodez. Despite another defeat, coach Madelis Goubeau noted some positive points and a certain satisfaction with the reaction of her players who were able to raise their heads in the face of adversity. They resisted throughout the game and only gave in in the last quarter to lose with the score of 43 to 75.

Team 2 of the U13 men, despite a good expenditure of energy, had to bow in the room of Grisolles 2 with the score of 34 to 46.

In the Occitanie championship, team 1 of the Caussade/Montpezat women’s U15s welcomed the Grand Ouest Toulouse team, in the Montpezat-de-Quercy hall. This opposition will bring certain satisfactions to coach Hugo Rabot.
