The Ceares opens today the day of the Asturians in the Second RFEF. The people from Gijon will visit Leganés B (Installación Deportiva Butarque, 4:00 p.m.) with the need to add far from La Cruz to feed the aspiration of saving the category. The next to enter the scene will be Langreo, who also has to travel, in this case to Galician lands, to face Bergantiños (As Eiroas, 5:00 p.m.). Those of Samuel Baños, who have just reincorporated David Álvarez, “Peli”, are looking for a victory that will bring them closer to the top of the classification. The Llanera’s turn will be tomorrow, receiving the Navalcarnero (Pepe Quimarán, 12.00).
“We hope that the break of these two weeks will serve as a push to come back stronger,” says Pablo Busto, coach of Ceares, before the visit to Leganés B. “We have taken advantage of these days to work on individual aspects. We have seen videos of actions against Móstoles to improve and also to reinforce what was done well. We have to grow”, continues the coach of the Gijon team, bottom of the category with eleven points.
Busto acknowledges that the defeat against Móstoles “did damage”, but underlines the positive and invites them to face the duel against the pepineros subsidiary with ambition. “We have the only doubt about Llerandi, who is somewhat touched. At the last minute we will decide. We hope not to have surprises at the covid-19 level, since we are already seeing the effect it is having on other teams”, comments the coach of the teyero team. As for the rival, he warns that it is a very intense team, especially defensively. He presses in the opposite field and dominates transitions very well, with Álex Sancris standing out a lot. It is a very strong team, very physical. At home they are not getting the results they were looking for and we will try to work to hurt them to get the three points, as always”.
The Langreo, meanwhile, is reunited with a Bergantiños whom he thrashed in the first round in Ganzábal. “The first leg game changed with their expulsion,” recalls Samuel Baños, who believes that this afternoon’s game will have little to do with it. “They gave us a hard time at the beginning because they are very good with the ball and they know how to dominate games. I was convinced that they were going to do things well because they showed it in Ganzábal, and that’s the way it is. They occupy play-off positions on their own merits, so they will make things very difficult for us”, he stresses.
The technician will not be able to count on Jorge Hernández or Lavsamba, with discomfort. The injured Abel will not be against Bergantiños either, nor will Dorian, concentrated with his team in the Africa Cup. Those who return to the list are Cristian, Alain and Nacho. The reserve team player Jorge Varela and Javi Torres, winter reinforcement along with David Álvarez, who does not travel, also enter the call. More new faces are expected.
