Chemnitz (dpa) – The basketball Bundesliga club Niners Chemnitz and center Ivan Karacic go their separate ways. As the club announced on Tuesday, the 25-year-old Croatian asked for a contract termination. Karacic is looking to join another European top division club for the remainder of the season as prospects for playing time in Chemnitz look slim. “At my age I have to think about the future. That’s why I want to go to another club now, where I have the chance to play more,” said Karacic.
