The central defender of Deportivo Cali, Hernán Menosse leaves for Uruguayan football for Peñarol. This was confirmed on Friday afternoon.
The champion defender of the “sugar bowl” had renewed with the team, however, after his departure was made known, he would no longer be part of Dudamel’s “puzzle” and will go to his native country.
“It is his wish and that of his family and that option cannot be truncated”, were the words of Dudamel in the sports program ‘Sake Long’ of WinSports.
After his departure, Hernán Menosse would leave an important space to fill for Deportivo Cali, which is already looking for his replacement.
“We will go out to look for a central defender and hopefully he will be Colombian,” the Venezuelan coach also said on the program.
Menosse with Cali played 52 games and scored 2 goals. Now in his destination in Uruguay he will also play the Copa Libertadores.
