They left the Argentinian summer for the sun of Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne. Since last week, ten judokas from the Argentine selection have been training for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. They will stay in the south of Mayenne until February 20, 2022. In the meantime, they will take part in two competitions, one in Portugal, the other in France, in Paris.
“Honored to be a land of welcome”
The Pays de Château-Gontier is honored to be a land of welcome for foreign delegations, particularly Argentinian judo, ahead of major international tournaments and future Olympic Games.

Other delegations will follow
A presence on Castrogonterian soil which is part of the municipality’s candidacy to be a training center for athletes. Other delegations, such as Côte d’Ivoire, are soon to come and take advantage of the facilities at Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne.
