Only two districts report case numbers – Incidence in Berlin fell slightly
The corona numbers in Berlin have fallen for the first time in a long time. As the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reported on Monday, the Number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days at 947.7 – after 965.3 on Sunday. Berlin thus continues to have the second highest value nationwide after Bremen and ahead of Hamburg.
the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district has a value of 1596.3 highest incidence of all urban and rural districts in Germany on. Nationwide, the RKI gave the seven-day incidence on Monday at 528.2.
What is striking, however, is that only two Berlin districts namely Neukölln and Reinickendorf, have reported current corona numbers. That should major influence on the development of the overall figures to have. The health administration has been pointing out in the management report for days that Marzahn-Hellersdorf cannot report numbers due to a technical problem.
According to the RKI, in Berlin, i.e. actually only in Neukölln and Reinickendorf, between Sunday and Monday 220 new infections registered. The total number of all infections detected since the beginning of the pandemic thus rose to 397,139. More deaths related to Covid-19 were not registered. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4067 people have died in Berlin from or with the virus.
